The mission of the MSC University Program is to meet the needs of 3 distinct stakeholder groups: students, professors, and companies in industry. Our primary goal is to help university students obtain desirable jobs with MSC`s best-in-class customer-companies who continually seek to hire talented engineers proficient with MSC`s industrial-strength, enterprise simulation software.

By enabling professors to include MSC software in their engineering curricula, our objective is to help them make the principles and theory they teach more understandable, enjoyable, and relevant for their students. Simulation enables engineers to go beyond static design (CAD) for form and fit – to rapidly develop high-quality, innovative products in the virtual world so they function as intended in the real world.

These university software bundles are designed to provide maximum flexibility for schools in terms of obtaining the right set of MSC products for them. You can purchase all bundles right away or start with one bundle and scale up gradually – the choice is yours.

To offer you additional flexibility for varying numbers of users, as well as maximum ease-of-administration for your MSC products (i.e., ordering, installing, licensing, and renewing them), we offer 3 different user packs, each sold separately for each bundle.

University MD Motion Bundle

This bundle contains software targeted at system-level simulation, especially for studying and visualizing mechanical systems that move (multi-body dynamics), such as vehicles and robots, as well as those that involve hydraulics and controls. The lists below identify which MSC products are currently included with this bundle and which optional 3rd-party-based products are currently available for an additional fee.

University SimDesigner Bundle

This bundle contains software targeted at CAD-embedded simulation inside CATIA V5, especially for structural, thermal, and impact-related finite element analysis (FEA) and motion analysis (multi-body dynamics). This is the same SimDesigner Enterprise software used by major manufacturers around the world – no functionality has been removed.
