Acquiring test data is a critical part in your development process – you need specialized instrumentation to “go anywhere and test anything”.
Imagine A range of modular hardware proven to do the job...
- that measures multichannel signals from analog transducers, strain & bridge devices...
- that directly logs associated digital, Vehicle Bus and GPS signals
- that uses a wide range of vehicle batteries to power the unit
- that can combine to form large channel count distributed networks
- that continues to work in tough environments: extremes of temperature and vibration, dust
- immersion, water splash…
- that can be operated by a driver - or remotely from a central location
- that is modular in approach, and easily re-configured to new tasks
- that uploads data to anywhere using web, or cell and satellite phone links
- and uses GlyphWorks® to quickly process the data and generate your reports
Imagine It’s exactly what you need for applications ranging from prototype testing to unattended onitoring!
A rugged and modular data acquisition system for applications where large channel counts may be required, eDAQ collects a wide range of analog, strain and thermocouple data directly from sensors, as well as digital data including vehicle network interfaces and GPS.
The base CPU unit is the foundation of the eDAQ – it has a web server in its own right. It is easily expanded by optional measurement layers to build the system you need on the day - and can be quickly re-configured when the job requires. You can even network multiple units together to form a large-scale, distributed system. After acquisition, you can transfer data directly to your PC, or dock the PCMCIA memory card into your PC while the unit continues acquisition using a second card..
Data can also be uploaded to base using web or radio links. eDAQ’s easy-to-use vehicle bus interface helps in selecting what to collect from the vehicle bus, including vehicle speed, voltage, RPM, throttle speed.... Custom databases can be created to set up vehicle network channels. eDAQ supports a wide range of vehicle network interfaces. Shock tested to withstand up to 10g and sealed to dust, the rugged eDAQ will operate successfully in tough testing environments. eDAQ’s compact size means that it can travel unobtrusively in vehicles, whether hidden under a seat, under a dashboard, or in the trunk.
