Can I use my existing CAD geometries?
Yes, EDEM can import from a wide range of file types, including:
- IGES (.igs, .iges)
- STEP (.stp, .step)
- ProE (.prt, .asm, .g) (Windows only)
- Fluent Mesh (.msh)
- STL (.stl)
- ACIS v.11 (.sat)
- Parasolid (.x_t, .xmt_txt, .x_b)
- Catia (.CATPart, .CATProduct) (Windows only)
Does the software require extensive training?
EDEM is an intuitive and easy to use software package, however some DEM knowledge or training is recommended. |
